Murakami-san is also well known in the fashion world for his collaboration work with luxury French fashion house and leather goods brand, Louis Vuitton.

Southern California Art

This special exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art looks at both the utopian and dystopian art of southern California in the 1960s and 70s, with echoes into the 1980s and 1990s.

With sleek, elegant works of light and space and "finish fetish" artists on one hand, and gritty, tawdry images of California pop on the other hand, LACMA will take a look at both of these regional strands of art.
