Dutch master violinist and conductor, André Rieu, is widely credited for reinvigorating the waltz music category with his melodramatic stage performances and on stage aura.
Raised in a musical family (his father was also a conductor), his fascination with orchestra began at an early age leading to his enrolment at the "Conservatoire Royal" in Liège and in the Conservatorium Maastricht where he majored in the violin.
