Singer/songwriter Thurston Moore of the band Sonic Youth will perform as a solo artist at Echoplex on October 30.

The talented guitarist will be spruiking his latest solo album, Trees Outside The Academy, which was released on his own record label in September 2007. This album comes 12 years after his debut solo release, Psychic Hearts, in 1995.
