Australian songbird Missy Higgins is a multiple award-winning singer/songwriter from the land down under.

Her debut album The Sound of White scooped many awards at the Australia ARIAs and her follow up effort On A Clear Night did not disappoint with smash hits "Scar" and "Steer" getting massive airplay on Aussie radio.

Liars

Alternative rockers Liars will play the El Rey Theatre in support of their latest self-titled studio album this February.

The album was produced by the band and Jeremy Glover and includes the hit song "Freak Out" which was No.91 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. The Liars are Angus Andrew (vocals/guitar), Aaron Hemphill (percussion, guitar, synth), and Julian Gross (drums).

Rhys Darby

Rhys Darby first found fame at university in 1995 for a comedy sketch entitled 'Things Rhys can do' and soon after, the comedy duo 'Rhysently Granted' with Grant Lobban was formed. The pair-up became an overnight sensation in Christchurch, New Zealand after winning an open mic contest at Southern Blues Bar.

Darby soon began hitting the stage solo at international comedy festivals and it soon became his trademark to put a spin on it by being very physical on stage and using his theatrical strengths in mime and sound effects to tell stories by acting them out.
