Takashi Murakami

Takashi Murakami is one of the most internationally acclaimed artists to emerge from Asia in the postwar era.

The highly talented Japanese artist effortlessly navigates between the worlds of fine art and popular culture and is best known for his cartoon-like, "superflat" style which is largely credited for the rejuvenation of the contemporary art scene in Japan.

Murakami-san is also well known in the fashion world for his collaboration work with luxury French fashion house and leather goods brand, Louis Vuitton.
