Before embarking on her Australian tour, Cat Power aka Charlyn "Chan" Marshall, will play The Wiltern on the last day of February.

The singer/songwriter will be singing the songs from her latest album Jukebox, released in January 2008. Her eighth studio album features a hand-picked selection of songs originally recorded by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Hank Williams, etc. but performed in Chan's own idiosyncratic style.

Pat Metheny Trio

Jazz guitarist and composer Pat Metheny is widely regarded as one of the most critically acclaimed jazz musicians of the 70s/80s.

Best known for his stylistic elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-Bop, jazz-rock fusion, and folk-jazz, the Pat Mentheny Trio of Pat, Antonio Sanchez and Christian McBride will be playing the songs from their upcoming album Day Trip due out some time in 2008.

The Hives & The Donnas

Swedish rock band, The Hives, are joining forces with all-female rockers, The Donnas, for a winter tour that includes a show at The Wiltern.

The Hives made their breakthrough in the early 2000s as a leading group of the garage rock revival while The Donnas achieved commercial success a little sooner during the late 90s. They recently released their 7th studio album titled Bitchin' in September 2007 on their own Purple Feather Records label.

The Hives released their fourth studio album, The Black and White Album, shortly afterwards in October 2007. Do not miss this opportunity to see two great bands live on stage at the same time!

Marilyn Manson with Ours

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is teaming up with alternative rock band, Ours, for a show at The Wiltern in February.

Manson will be performing the songs from his sixth and latest studio album, Eat Me, Drink Me while Ours will be giving fans a preview of the songs from their upcoming album titled Mercy (Dancing For The Death Of An Imaginary Enemy), which is due for release in March this year.
