8/20 - 8/29: NO entry to the Fair 1 hour prior to close. Barns close at 10pm & Exhibit buildings close at 11pm nightly (with the exception of 8/29 when buildings close at 10pm). All buildings are ADA accessible.

Saturday 8/21 & 8/28, Rotary Club of Lancaster BOOK DRIVE - Bring 1 NEW or 3 gently used elementary level book(s) & get 1 FREE admission from 2-4pm, redeem at main gate and receive 1 FREE ride.




Sunday, 8/22 & 8/29, Grace Resources Canned FOOD DRIVE - Bring 5 cans of food between 2 - 4pm & get 1 FREE admission & 1 FREE ride pass at Main Gate. Canned Food Drive promo does NOT include ticket to concert on 8/22 or Demo Derby*** on 8/29. $25 wristbands are available for purchase until 9pm & are good for rides all night. After
9pm to close NO $25 wristbands sold, rides are full price. $1 games (until 9pm only).



Monday, 8/23 -

Tuesday, 8/24, $2 Dollar Tues. - Admission, rides and games are $2 each until 9pm. There will also be $2 specials at participating concession stands. (EXCLUDES parking, parking is $5)



Wednesday, 8/25, High Desert Broadcasting’s “Wacky Wed.” - $5 admission for all ages with on-line coupon ONLY at avfair.com, until 9pm.



Thursday, 8/26, “Come Back” Thurs. - $25 ride wristband is available for purchase on 8/26 for $20 at carnival ticket booths with presentation of a redeemable coupon from a previous carnival ticket purchase. REDEEM AT CARNIVAL TICKET BOOTH, NOT FAIR BOX OFFICE. NO duplications accepted. This PURCHASE offer is good ON 8/26, until 9pm, ONLY. BOTH $25 & $20 wristbands are good for rides all night. Mariachi USA Festival


The Mariachi USA Festival features five hours of nonstop Mariachi magic featuring the finest Mariachis with beautiful ballet folklorico and spectacular fireworks finale.

Chinese Lantern Festival


The 7th Annual Lantern Festival is presented by the Chinese American Museum and is held at the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument in late February.

The Lantern Festival is a holiday that occurs annually on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month to mark the closing of Chinese New Year festivities. The event features Chinese watercolor demonstrations and workshops, book signings, lantern making workshops and live dance, musical and acrobatic performances.

The 48th annual edition of the free, live six-hour show that is the “L.A. County Holiday Celebration” is a cultural extravaganza.

Choirs, music ensembles, and dance companies reflecting the vibrant spectrum of cultures found in southern California express the joy of the season. Highlights include Persian music from the Lian Ensemble, Mexican folkloric dance from Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet, a combination of Chinese traditional dance and tango from Mandarin Orange, klezmer music from Klezmer Juice, choral selections from the Colburn School Children’s Chorus, Filipino music and dance from Kultura Philippine Folk Arts and Ladino music from Stefani Valadez.

The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is an annual event to celebrate Halloween.
