Knott's Berry Farm - America's 1st Theme Park
May 30th 2008 01:15
The 160-acre Knott's Berry Farm is America's first theme park and the 12th most-visited amusement park in the country.
Divided into six individually themed areas - Boardwalk, Camp Snoopy, Fiesta Village, Ghost Town, Wild Water Wilderness, and Indian Trail - there are 38 major rides at the park with the most extreme thrill rides in the Boardwalk area.
Camp Snoopy is predominantly for younger children, but they will also enjoy other areas too.
At Halloween, the park transforms into Knott's Scary Farm - an event so popular that tickets often sell out in advance so book your tickets early if you wish to plan your visit to coincide with halloween.
