Boxing: Fernando Vargas v. Ricardo Mayorga

"The Aztec Warrior" Fernando Vargas will go toe-to-toe with former WBA/WBC Welterweight champion and WBC Junior Middleweight champion Ricardo Mayorga at the Staples Center in what will be the final fight of his career.

At the first official press conference for the fight, Mayorga said some offensive things towards Vargas and attempted to slap him. Vargas immediately jumped up from his seat and retaliated with punches and a brawl broke out between the two fighers' camps.

Expect a lot of fireworks at this fight!

The star of the reality show The Osbournes will be spruiking his critically acclaimed first album of new studio material in six years - Black Rain - and will be ably supported by fellow rocker Rob Zombie of White Zombie fame.

Van Halen Fall 2007 Tour

Van Halen's Fall 2007 Tour arrives in LA in November for one exclusive show only at the Staples Center.

In what promises to be the most exciting live event this year, Van Halen will embark on a North American concert tour with its original lead singer, David Lee Roth, for the first time in 22 years.

Considered by fans and media alike as one of the most highly anticipated tours in rock and roll history, Roth, guitarist Eddie Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen will perform with Eddie's son, Wolfgang, who joins the lineup as the band's bass player. Van Halen and Roth have not performed or recorded together since 1984's classic, multi-platinum album 1984 and its subsequent tour, making this truly a historic event. Plus, these shows mark a stadium-sized homecoming for Eddie, Dave and Alex. They first shook the infamous Sunset Strip two decades ago with an electric live show that would change rock n' roll.

Hannah Montana at the Staples Center

Fourteen-year-old singer, songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus of the hit Emmy Award-nominated Disney Channel series Hannah Montana will bring her North American "Best of Both Worlds" concert tour to the Staples Center this November.

The musical event will feature Cyrus performing as a solo artist and as her popular television character Hannah Montana.

An event not to be missed by children of all ages!
